Positive rate
"Positive rate" is called out in the cockpit of airliners during take-off, when everything indicates that the plane is climbing and not returning to the ground. And although it has been some time since we last posted anything here, that doesn't mean we crashed!
Being a bunch of enthusiasts, we do all the work for Jetheadz AVC in our spare time and so sometimes we don't have the resources to progress as much as we'd like, but we think we can call out "positive rate" now anyway, because all the feedback we got from you Jetheadz out there has been positive and encouraging. Thank you so much for that!
And here we are, back with our first aviation video under the Jetheadz name! And what a video it is! Not just do we think we managed to get some really nice shots from well-chosen positions, but it's also the beginning of our first little series!
The Zwickau Airfield Festival 2016 surely doesn't compare to events the likes of "EAA AirVenture Oshkosh", but with a spectrum reaching from rather rare vintage airplanes, over gliders and gyrocopters to top of the line aerobatic planes, it was definitely worth a visit for any Jethead and with it's festival-like atmosphere for anyone else too! ;) So, we dropped by for some hours and because the organizers kindly supported our efforts, we were able to capture material that we just had to share with all you Jetheadz!
The topic of our first video from that event is a class of airplanes, which virtually erverybody loves and which makes Jetheadz sigh with nostalgic feelings: Biplanes.
